Made in the USA! Maple Landmark Shaped Jigsaw Puzzle - Elephant

Introducing our newest line of puzzles from Maple Landmark Woodcraft, the shaped jigsaw puzzle.
Our Elephant puzzle has 10 large interlocking pieces cut from 1/8" hardwood plywood. Each puzzle measures about 11" high and 12" long. Brightly colored and detailed designs are printed right on the wood so the images don't scratch off with lots and lots of play. Each puzzle comes shrink wrapped with a drawstring pouch for easy storage.
While much is being made of the dangers of imported products, there are alternatives. We craft a wide range of wooden toys, games, and gifts made right here in Vermont, USA.
We follow American standards of product safety, employee safety, and environmental protection. The shortcuts of doing it any other way are not what Maple Landmark is about.
We design our toys to provide the best in hands-on learning and exploration. Surely it is becoming an electronic world but children still need to learn basic manipulation and construction. Our products can be found in toy stores, gifts shops, catalogs and online merchants throughout the United States and beyond.

Facial Serum vs. Facial Moisturizer

Are you finding it hard to decide what's better for your skin: a facial serum or a facial moisturizer? Here's what you need to know.

Answer:

While facial serums can give you added moisture, the main reason you'd want to use a facial serum is to get added nutrients into deeper layers of your skin that a regular moisturizer is not able to reach. You can get many types of serums such as anti-aging serums, skin brightening serums and even acne preventative serums.

You apply the serum after your toner and before your moisturizer.

A moisturizer has larger molecules than a serum. This means that a moisturizer will not penetrate the skin as far as a serum will. While serums deposit nutrients, moisturizers are meant to deposit moisture and hydration your skin.

Of course skin care companies would like to make you believe that you need both, but of course that is not true. If you have a problem with your skin that you'd like to improve, such as dark spots or early aging signs, a serum can help. Also, if your skin is very oily, a serum can give you enough hydration. But, if your skin is happy with your regular moisturizer alone, there is no need to rush off to buy a serum.

    *NOTE:
Potassium Hydroxide is a mineral that is used in our Coconut Oil Soap as a processing aid to help gain a higher quality of soap. It is NOT in the finished product ! When the Coconut Oil Soap is made, it is a mixture of coconut oil and water, less then 2% of potassium hydroxide is then added for the processes aid to heat up the oil and water safely and turn it into soap. After the process, the Potassium Hydroxide then floats to the top and is removed. A purifying of the soap process is done several times to ensure NO Potassium Hydroxide is left in the soap. So there is NO Potassium Hydroxide in the actual finished product, it is not an ingredient it is a processing aid. However the USDA did not at one time make it regulation to add the processing aids to the ingredient list since they are not ingredients. However the regulations have changed and we are now required to list all processing aids. All organic and natural soaps on the market are processed with either Potassium Hydroxide or Sodium Hydroxide. These soaps also go through the purifying stage so that none of the Hydroxides are left in the finished soap. Potassium Hydroxide is Rated 2 on Skin Deep Database. Which is still in the green for safety.
